Tropical Maui Destination Wedding in Ponomakena Sanctuary
I can hear my heart singing to the tune of this gorgeous tropical wedding in Maui. Opihi Love planned a colorful evening to remember filled with touches of Hawaii throughout the romantic evening. With lush floral centerpieces of garden roses, perfectly placed monstera leaves and a furry surprise all the way from NYC, this wedding photographed by Dmitri and Sandra is just what we need to get over this mid-week slump!

From the photographer, Dmitri and Sandra: Once known as the Sugarman Estate and located on the tranquil shores of South Maui, PonoMakena has a romantic atmosphere and beautiful lighting makes this sanctuary one of a kind. Sara wanted to keep the decor modern with a touch of tropical as her family resides in Hawaii. Opihi Lovee did a fantastic job including Hawaiian touches throughout the ceremony and reception. As guests arrived they were greeted with champagne and a flower for the ladies to place behind their ear. One unique guest was their puppy, which made the journey all the way from NYC for their special day.
For cocktail hour the Bride and Groom opted for a signature cocktail called the Pog-Tai which included their favorite Hawaiian juice. The Poke and Spam Musubi kept with their tropical Hawaiian theme and their Smore Bar was a fantastic late night snack and a sweet tooth lovers dream.
